Stereopony is accelerating in the American Market

Recently, Stereopony traveled to America for their first America Tour. Evan Taubenfeld, who has performed as support for Avril Lavigne as well as produced caught a rumor of their concert at Key Club (Venerable Live House in LA. where Green Day, the Black Eyed Peas and the other big bands performed on).

He was pleased with Stereopony’s rock live, which was a different style from others. After the live, he visited the dressing room, and a production was agreed upon. After the US tour, they had a meeting, and even finished planning to compose a new song.

On the other hand, Sam Hollander the producer of Boys Like Girls, Katy Perry and the others, who is also wrote “TAXI,” a greatest hits of “Shoujo Jidai (Girls’ Generation)” listened to the sound of Stereopony given by their U.S. staff. Then he offered to produce them and meet in L.A.

After watching the newly finished ‘stand by me’ and ‘Okami’ MVs, they said “COOL!” “what kind of music do they listen to usually?” “How do they come up with their own music?” Were some of the questions the producers were asking the members. The conversation became to how the new songs are made and how the image of the song will be was rounded up. They talked about the concept of the new song and planned and outlined of it.

As for now, the new release date is pending, but we can’t relax knowing how fast stereopony is moving forward.

With the girls, it’s been a while, but they are releasing a new song ‘Stand by Me’which is released May 30th. Leaning towards the rock, the song is fast pace, and the song is used for the ending theme of an Anime ‘Eureka Seven Ao’ which MBS system is currently televising.

Yesterday Stereopony held their last live at SHIBUYA CLUB QUATTRO. In this tour Stereopony has played not only in Japan but also in multiple venues in America for the first time. Here's some really nice reports full of pictures of this tour!
